Craft Classes Now Available At Vycombe Arts

At Vycombe Arts we offer a range of classes aimed at the beginner including silk painting, jewellery making and felting.

A range of classes are available at our premises just outside Towcester, Northamptonshire.

Alternatively if you are a memeber of a craft group and would like us to come to you group. We are happy to run classes within a 50 mile radius of Northampton.

We also offer craft parties for children and adults alike. Choose your craft and we will bring everything you need to have a go.

Materials will be available for sale after each class so if you have enjoyed your new skill you can continue enjoy it at your leisure.

Sat 14th August

9.30 - 11.30 Paint a Silk Card - Fully Booked

Paint a Silk Card - Aprox 2 hours - £7.50 per person

All materials supplied

Students will be shown the basic silk painting techniques and will then be given the opportunity to paint a pre outlined silk design which can be turned into a card or mounted in a picture frame.

12.00 - 2.30 Chainmaille Jewellery - Fully Booked

Chainmaille Jewellery - Byzantine Bracelet, Pendant or earrings - Aprox 2.5 hours - From £10.00 per person

All Materials Supplied (Price dependant on Silver plated or Sterling Silver and item of jewellery being made)

Students will be shown the Byzantine technique plus examples of some finished pieces using this and other chainmaille techniques. They will then be given the opportunity to make their own Byzantine Earrings, Pendant or Bracelet. Some students may not complete there piece during the class but they can easily be finished at home.

Sat 28th August

Beginners Wet Felting - 9.30 - 11.30 - Spaces Available

All Materials Supplied - Aprox 2 hours - £7.50 per person

Students will be given a demonstration followed by the chance to make there own felt.

For groups of 5 or more we are happy to arrange a taylor made class to suit your needs at our premises just outside Towcester. Classes are available Monday - Saturday.
