Jacquard Lumiere is easy to use. Right from the start you can create fun and exciting projects that will impress your friends and satisfy your creative urges. And as your experience grows so will your repertoire of techniques. These paints are quite simply, stunning. They brush on like butter and are designed not to spread. This allows for smooth application to soft or flexible surfaces like fabrics or uneven textures.
There are 32 gorgeous colours plenty for most projects. But if you need more you can easily mix the colours to make any colour you desire.
You can mix Neopaque White (589) into any Lumiere colour to create pastels.
You can increase the transparency of any colour by adding Flowable Extender (579) to it. The more you add the more transparent the colour will be. You can increase both transparency and flowability by adding up to 25% water. This will give you more of a watercolour effect.
Lumiere paints also mix beautifully with Neopaque, Textile Colours, and Dye-Na-Flow.
Jacquard Lumiere can be applied with brushes, stamp pads, squirt bottles, and an airbrush. For airbrushing thin with water up to 25%.
After drying, Jacquard Lumiere must be set with heat. Ironing is the best method for setting. Use a dry iron and iron on the reverse side on the appropriate setting for the fabric.
