YLI Wash Away thread is cold water soluble. It is easily removed with a spray of water or immersing in water.
YLI wash away thread can be used for basting, Trapunto, with fusible to make adhesive applique that shows no stitching.

TIP

Simply put washaway in the needle with fusible in the bobin; zig zag around the shape and fold under. Fix in place with a steam iron. The heat from the iron sets the fusible while the steam dissolves the Wash Away. Use with a 80/12 denim/jeans needle. Or is that cheating?
