Aquatics Bond is a water soluble wash away fabric stabiliser with the weight of a fine muslin,
it is strong and robust and on one side it is coated in a soluble glue.
Designs can be created directly onto the bond by drawing freehand or printing on it using an inkjet printer.
If you need to embroider items that are difficult to hoop or cannot be hooped,
Aquatics Bond is a great asset and can be used as a very effective stabiliser for them.
Aquatics Bond has a protective backing that peels off and allows the bond to stick to your work.
A circular piece of bond cut the same size as the hoop and stuck to the edge of the hoop will hold your work firmly.
You can now machine embroider your work.
Once you have finished your embroidery, the bond can be washed out by rinsing under a running tap or moving it about in a bowl of water.
You are then left with your embroidered piece of work and no trace of the bond.
