Luminous, brilliant, iron fix silk painting colour, water-based, easy flowing, fix by ironing - for professionals, hobbyists and crafters alike. Marabu Silk is ideal for all types of silk and fine cottons. All the basic techniques such as outlining, watercolour and salt effects, plus many more can be used with Marabu Silk. The intense colour shades are easily mixed to give delightful blends. Marabu Silk also has good fade resistance and thins in water. Brushes and tools are easily cleaned in water straight after use. Once dry, Marabu Silk can be fixed by ironing or oven curing. After fixing, fabrics are washable and can be dry cleaned.
