Habotai 8 silk is a light weight fabric ideal for silk painting using Pebeo, Marabu or Javana silk paints. It can also be use for making clothing such as ties, scarves, shirts, blouses, negligees etc. This lovely shiny fabric can also be used for dress making, for example bridle ware. Silk's attractive luster and drape also makes it suitable for many furnishings such as cushions bedding and wall hangings, also many other craft projects involve the use of silk such as textile or card making.

Heavier silk such as Habotai 10 or lighter fabric such as ponge 5 is also available from us.
