Acid Dyes are intended for fibres derived from protein eg silk, wool and feathers as well as nylon.
If using immersion-dyeing processes the dye-bath should be over a heat-source to keep the temperature of the dye-bath just below boiling. When using Acid Dye for direct printing (thickened with Manutex F) or painting techniques, the fabric should be steam-set.
The Starter Pack contains six colours in cool and warm hues of red, yellow and blue - 10gm pot each of Magenta, Scarlet, Lemon, Yellow, Turquoise and Ultramarine
Also includes 100gms Ammonium Sulphate acid dye fixer (white vinegar or citric acid can be used as alternative fixing agents), vinyl gloves and easy instructions.
