A printing/painting medium which creates textural effects on all surfaces.
A light cream-coloured, soft paste medium in a jar; Xpandaprint is applied very sparingly (neat from the jar - no colour is added at this stage) Heat is applied (heat-gun or hovering a hot iron over the Xpandaprint) and the medium expands into soft textural areas. Xpandaprint can now be manipulated, painted, embroidered, guilded etc.
Try it on FibreDK (Lutradur) and use a heat gun to create wonderful distressed effects as developed by Lynda Monk in her book 'Exploring Creative Surfaces'
Full instructions wth lots of ideas for development are available in the separate Know-How Guide.
