HOW TO USE BONDING WEB Place a piece of Bonding Web (backing sheet up) over the fabric to be bonded. Iron over the backing sheet to activate, then lift off backing sheet (if adhesive is not secured, apply more heat; if the backing sheet doesn't lift easily, leave to cool first then try again). Place second fabric over the adhesive, iron again. The two fabrics are now bonded.
Use as a practical solution to layering fabrics and applique, or use decoratively. Examples: colour Bonding Web with dyes, inks or fabric paints before applying to fabric; lay foils over Bonding Web - cover with baking parchment and then iron (HINT: try drawing with just the tip of the iron).
We stock a wide range of fabrics and fibres for textile artists, from silks to jute.
