Fixatives for Pastel & Charcoal

These fixatives improve the adhesion of particles to the drawing surface.

To be applied sparingly using a mouth atomiser/diffuser or spray bottle (this should be cleaned straight after use) from about 40cms

Non yellowing and quick-drying.

Fixative for Pastel:
Improves adhesion of particles of pastel to the surface.
Ideally apply between each layer of pastel

Fixative for Charcoal:
Improves adhesion of charcoal, chalk and graphite particles to the surface.
Makes colours darker and more transparent.

NOTE: Aerosols cannot be sent through the post, so this form of fixative is the most easily available by mail-order.
