Primarily intended as an additive for extending the open time of water-based screen inks and paints when screen printing, Versatex Screen Life will also act as a general Retarder for acrylic paints.

Versatex Screen Life is particularly useful when producing long screen-print runs, or when conditions are hot & dry, preventing blocking of the screen.

When used as a retarder with acrylics, the paint will remain workable for longer and helps to prevent paint skinning over on the palette.

Very little is needed to slow down the drying time.

Start by adding 1 teaspoon/5 ml of Screen Life per 450ml of paint or ink - roughly 1% screen life to paint.   The more you add the longer the mix will take to dry.
Mix well before using.
