Each 227gm pot is equivalent to 16 x small Jacquard Acid Dye pots! 

Jacquard's Acid Dyes are a concentrated powdered dye for use on protein fibres eg wool, silk, nylon & feathers, offering extreme vibrancy and colourfastness.

These dyes offer a good uniform colour when immersion dyeing in the hot dye-bath. They can also be used for painting and printing applications using steam setting.

Despite what the name suggests these dyes do not contain acid the only acid used is the vinegar or citric acid used in the dye bath.
