Jacquard’s traditional Gutta Resist is made from natural Gutta-perch (tree sap) which produces the finest resist available.  

Gutta Resist becomes permanent with air-drying and is intended to remain permanent on the fabric.  

Gutta is NOT water-based and can only be thinned and cleaned up with Gutta Resist Solvent

Note: When using heavier fabrics Gutta Resist may have to be thinned with Gutta Resist Solvent so it completely penetrates the fabric.
