Tussah Silk is produced from wild silk moths not the cultivated moth.  

Wild moths feed on a wide variety of vegetation so the resulting silk fibre can have a strong cream to almost nutty brown colour instead of the uniform pale cream to white colour of mulberry silk.   This is a dark cream version
