MASTERCARD, VISA, DEBIT CARDS

• Online orders - Payment Online - Follow the instructions at the Checkout. 
• Online orders - Payment Offline - Select this option at the Checkout. We will then contact you by phone to take the payment details.
• Telephone orders - Be ready to quote your card details at the time of placing the order.
• Email or Post - It is NOT recommended to include your card details. Please contact us by phone to give us your card details separately.

CARRIAGE CHARGES and RESTRICTIONS April 2020

MAIL ORDER – Mainland UK
Carriage is charged by weight. Despatch methods are as follows
Gift Vouchers First Class Standard at £2.45
Parcel weight under 2000gms: Second Class Standard at £3.72
Parcel weight under 1000gms First Class Standard at £4.44 
Parcel weight over 1000gms but under 2000gms 
First Class Standard at £6.50
Parcel weight 2000gms and over: Courier Service at £9.00

The maximum charge for carriage for the majority of Mainland UK is £9.00
Courier Service is in general a next-day (though not guaranteed) service. Highlands and Islands will take longer and will incurr a higher charge. Please see below 
Courier Services will make a Premium Charge to deliver on Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays

Exceptions to the above charges, and to the £9.00 maximum carriage charge, will include those items that fall into the list below.

RESTRICTIONS
Hazardous: Eg. Airbrush Propellant – only supplied in person via the shop, van or events.
Royal Mail: Only available for parcels under 61cms in length (tube) or 61cm (flat parcel) - this measurement has to accommodate packaging.
Liquids can only be supplied up to a total maximum of ONE LITRE per consignment.
Aerosols cannot be supplied by Royal Mail. 
Courier: There is a charge of over £30.74 inc VAT for parcels over 1 metre in length
Highlands & Islands: Parcels sent to addresses with UK postcodes but not on the mainland (eg CI, IoM, IoW, NI) or are within the Highlands area of Scotland, may incur additional charges for parcels by courier services. Post Codes for Scottish Highlands & Islands.

The carriage will be a charged according to weight and country of destination. The charge will be calculated at the Checkout.
We will fulfil the order to the best of our ability in one despatch. Although there may be exceptions, we will not generally hold any part of the order as a Back Order for addresses outside the UK.   In this case a refund will be made for the missing item(s).

Australia - Canada - New Zealand - USA
Terms and condions as above.

MAIL ORDER – Overseas – Other
Carriage charges, restrictions and conditions can vary widely (eg Norway has a customs charge to be paid in advance on parcels valued over a given amount) so each order has to be processed exclusively.
If your country is not listed then please send your order to us in an email with your address.    
We will then detemine if it is possible to send to that country and inform you of the carriage charge for your order.
Payment can then be made by contacting us with your card details, by paying by bank transfer in Sterling*, or by Paypal.
*All bank transfer charges to be paid by the sender.

We will be adding to the list of ‘Europe’ and ‘Rest of the World’ countries that can be handled as online payments.

 

DESPATCH TIMES

We aim to despatch orders within 48 hours but as a small, specialist supplier this may not be possible at times of high demand. If the order is needed urgently - for example to complete a project, or in advance of a particular day (for a workshop, or as a gift), please let us know via the ‘Any Special Instructions’ box at the Checkout and we will try to give it priority.

To be able to bring you a wide range of products we deal with hundreds of suppliers. At any time we may be temporarily out of stock of an item, and we can also occasionally experience difficulty in obtaining even quite run-of-the-mill products. If this is likely to cause a delay we will notify you. When appropriate, orders will be part supplied and we will place items we cannot immediately supply on Back Order, to be despatched as soon as possible. The total carriage charged for all parcels despatched as part of any one order will not exceed the maximum charge as shown for that country.

PLEASE NOTE: We aim to despatch orders as soon as possible using the method requested by you, the customer.   Once the order has passed into the hands of Royal Mail or the courier, the length of time taken for delivery is out of our control.   We will, of course, do everything we can to trace delayed orders, but we cannot be held responsible for delays within the distribution system.

Prices listed are inclusive of VAT at 20% (Current rate at time of publication)

As suppliers publish price lists at random times of the year, we reserve the right to alter our prices without notification. Most suppliers introduce at least one increase each year.

Title (ownership) shall remain with Art Van Go until payment is received in full.

The Customer has the right to cancel or return goods no longer required within 14 days of receipt. Unless the goods are faulty the cost of return shall be the responsibility of the customer

All products are supplied in good faith. Correct use of the product, and suitability of the product for any process, is the responsibility of the purchaser. Thorough testing of product, technique and procedure is recommended before embarking on any project. Art Van Go cannot be held responsible for product use. Our liability is confined to the value of the supplied goods alone. Any genuinely faulty product will be exchanged or refunded.

RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS and FAULTY GOODS

We would always prefer that you have the right items for your project so if you wish to cancel your order, are not happy with any goods received or they are damaged, you may return them to us within 14 working days explaining the reason and whether you wish replacement or refund. We recommend that you use recorded post as we cannot replace items 'lost in the post'. Undamaged returns must be in the original unopened packet.
We will only refund the postage costs on any faulty or damaged goods.
